monday mornings

I have to say this morning was probably my favorite morning since arriving in this country. I spent the night a family friend's place. They live in the suburbs of the city with a big garden, so this morning I woke up to sunlight streaming in through the large window and to the sound of birds chirping. I felt so rested and so ready to wake up...why can't all Monday mornings be like that?
